Travis Winkler is the General Manager of Video and Audio for Bloomberg Media, Bloomberg L.P.’s global multi-platform media organization. Travis oversees Bloomberg's video and audio business, including the teams responsible for worldwide video and audio distribution for Bloomberg's TV networks, CTV apps, and podcasts, business development, original and licensed content partnerships, ad tech strategic vendors, and monetization and operations.
Prior to joining Bloomberg, Travis was the Director of Business Development at BAMTECH Media and following the company's acquisition by The Walt Disney Company, held the same role at Disney Streaming Services. Travis was a key member of the ESPN+ launch team and served as the BAMTECH/DSS business lead for all ESPN+ distribution deals. He also led licensing and distribution efforts for the NHL digital rights, including the NHL.TV product.
Previously, Travis was the Senior Manager, Business Development at GoPro where he worked on GoPro's initial foray into the digital video and entertainment space. During his time at GoPro, Travis ran distribution and content acquisition efforts for GoPro's owned and operated digital properties, including the GoPro OTT app.
Travis started his career at Hulu shortly after the launch of Hulu Plus. As part of the early distribution and subscriber acquisition team, Travis helped grow the SVOD service to nine million subscribers and managed Hulu's device distribution with partners like Roku, Amazon, Apple, Google, Samsung, and Vizio. He also led the development and launch of Hulu's Premium Add-Ons business with Showtime.
Travis received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
